Sell Wendy and Stephen Hazelwood relocated and brought a dilapidated characterful cottage back to life. With their children leaving home, Wendy and Stephen Hazelwood were ready for a change of lifestyle, and a move to Gloucestershire proved to be exactly what they were after. The couple sold their home in Beaconsfield, put their furniture in storage, and relocated to their little holiday cottage until they found a bigger place. ‘The hunt for our permanent, perfect Cotswold home in the area had begun!’ says Wendy. Properties in this part of the world are so popular they’re often snapped up before even appearing on the open market, so competition was tough. ‘You need to immerse yourself in the area and keep your ear to the ground, ’ says Wendy. ‘So we were thrilled when a neighbour told me about this house.’
