Adobe home in the Southern Highlands, Australia

Adobe buildings are environmentally friendly and have been known since Roman times. Typical are the irregular structures and earthy colours of the surfaces, which create a warm atmosphere. This was also the reason the Mitchell family opted for the house. With the high ceilings in the open kitchen, the dining and living room creates a spacious living. In the winter the family gathers around the fireplace.
