Almost all the materials used in this Cape home are salvaged

It is a great idea for a sustainable and budget-conscious building. From the front, the house appears quite sheltered with small, high windows – primarily for security. But once you step inside, you realise it’s also ideal for indoor-outdoor living. That’s because the north-facing backyard has been fitted with giant sliding doors and industrial steel windows – everything salvaged and recycled.
